3 CPEC Projects in Final Stage of Completion

3 CPEC Projects

Under China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), 3 projects, situated on Motorway, is near to its completion stage. National Highway Authority (NHA) will announce the inauguration date & ceremony details afterward.

The details of these 3 projects are shared below

Multan-Sukkur Motorway (M-5)

It is a component of Peshawar-Karachi Motorway. China EXIM Bank is funding this project. Overall, length of this motorway is about 392 Km. NHA is going through a process to take over this project from its developer

Hakla-D I Motorway

It is a part of a long Motorway. Overall, the length of motorway is 285 Km with 4 lanes. It will start from Dera Ismail khan and will meet Peshawar-Islamabad Motorway at the location of Hakla.

Thakot –Havelian Expressway

Thakot-Havelian Expressway is constituted of 2 parts.

  • 1st part: Havelian to Mansehra
  • 2nd part: Mansehra to Thakot

For now, 40 Km of 1st part is almost completed. Once a few technical problems is resolved the project will be opened for public.
