Housing Societies will not be able to officially launch their projects for another 2 months. Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration has announced to extend the imposed ban on Housing Societies Launch. The decision is taken in light of agencies present operation to tackle the illegal land acquisition activities.

According to news sources, district magistrate pointed out many residential schemes that are illegally conducting this Real Estate development business in Islamabad. Legal notification said alleged housing societies developers advertising there housing schemes. It is actually luring people & inviting them for member ship on excessive lands. These respective lands are either illegal or not owned yet. Ultimately, it leads to scam, fraud, & order issues.

Previously, ICT Administration imposed ban on advertisement of such housing societies. However, this time it has extended the ban on housing societies launch.
