CDA Handed Over Land for 11 Parks to MCI
Capital Development Authority (CDA) has regained the land earmarked for 11 parks. Possession of these sites handed over to Metropolitan Corporation of Islamabad (MCI). These parks are to be built in various sectors of Islamabad. Moreover, Environment Wing of MCI will develop & preserve these natural sanctuaries.
Previously, CDA found out that the land reserved for parks is facing encroachments. Mostly, it is illegally occupied by the neighboring residents. In this regard, Enforcement Directorate gathered the entire data & asked to recover it from land mafia. These park site include:
- Street 52 sector F-11/2
- Street 73, sector F-11/1
- Rohtas Road G-9/4
- Street 14/8, sector F-11/1
- Street 50, sector F-11/4
- Chaman Road G-8/1
- Street 117 service road (east) sector G-11/3
- Street 50 sector F-11/3
- Gali 165 sector G-11/1
- Street 73 sector G-11/2
- Street 109 110 sector G-11/3
- Model Town, Humak
- Street 100 sector G-11/3
- Street No.67 sector D-12/2
Moreover, CDA also demolished rooms, washrooms, kiosks, washrooms, building material depots, kiosks & other site encroachments during this ongoing drive.
