CDA Restarted Work on Kuri Model Village

Capital Development Authority (CDA) decided to restart the development work on stalled Kuri Model Village. With commencement of this project, Rs. 1 Billion revenue generation is estimated. Almost 22,000 Kanals of land would be used in this project.

Kuri Model Village project was launched in 1990. In the beginning, this project was launched to compensate the individuals affected for setting up Islamabad city. The land was acquired from them back in 1960. However, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), in 2013, begun investigation due to various incidents of duplicate allotments of plot.

As per latest updates, in this new wake, plot would be allotted to those individuals whose cases has been cleared by both bodies including FIA and NAB
