Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) President Muhammad Ahmad Waheed shared his view regarding Capital Development Authority (CDA) building bylaws. He said on par with government initiative to promote construction industry, CDA should develop new standard operating procedures (SOPs).

As per new sources, he urged the apex agency in order to enhance the business activity in Islamabad. Previously, CDA had announced strict guidelines. In addition, several operations were launched in order to keep check on the implementation of these rules.

However, it leads to cancellation of NOC of many projects. Several buildings demolished. In the long run, it somehow, damages the confidence of several builders. Thus, ICCI president believed that CDA must develop new laws to retain the trust and also evoke new spark in this industry.
