Lahore: The Punjab government is good to go to dispatch one more minimal effort peri-urban low-cost housing scheme plan in Raiwind.  A news resource discloses that this plan will include almost 556 private units.

The Provincial government is anticipating the Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan Imran Khan to perform weighty service in Raiwind. At the same time, the PM is expected to practically witness the groundbreaking of low-cost housing projects at ten other sites as part of this peri-urban scheme.

The task conceives the development of eighteen hundred minimal peri-urban housing units. The areas including tehsils of Chiniot, Chunian, DG Khan, Jalalpur Pirwala, Khanewal, Khushab, Mandi Bahauddin, Mianwali, and Sargodha.

Moreover, The Peri-Urban Low-Cost Housing Scheme is a joint venture of the Punjab Government and Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority (NAPHDA). This scheme intends to provide homes/ shelters to the oppressed individuals

The said peri-metropolitan lodging plan will be finished in stages. For the main stage, 41 destinations have been suggested by NAPHDA in 39 tehsils. An aggregate of 10,000 lodging units will be built on these locales for which the government is giving a sponsorship of PKR 300,000 alongside a fixed markup pace of 3%.
