Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) issued notices to 20 building owners. These notifications address the violation of certain parameters regarding the building structure.

As per Qaiser Mehmood, RCB spokesperson, these notifications are issued to plaza owners with effect of ongoing drive illegal constructions in Rawalpindi city. Cantonment Executive Officer (CEO) orders Building Control Department teams of RCB to keep check and balance. Presently, the operation was carried out in different areas of city mainly including
- Farooqabad
- Misrial Road
- Pehsawar Road
- Usmania Colony
- Marble Factory
- Quaid-e-Azam Colony
- Ahmedabad
RCB is actively participating in maintain the standard of development in Rawalpindi. Previously, it also issued notices to ramshackle building owners & residents to vacate the edifice as soon as possible.
