Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) announced its plan to launch Rawalpindi Master Plan for 2045. Chairman RDA Tariq Murtaza said civic agency will certainly consider to introduce the new Master plan for the largest district. As it needs the time to foresight things ahead of time. Thus, it will help to resolve certain issues.

According to news sources, all the concerned departments & individuals brought on table to give their thoughts about this crucial issue. In this meet up several issue of Rawalpindi were discussed. The salient issues include:

  • Water supply
  • Sewerage maintenance
  • Health facilities
  • Education opportunities
  • Tourism
  • Traffic Flow

Due to massive migration & population growth, these aspects were important to discuss. Thus, Rawalpindi Master Plan 2045 will be made keeping in view the future challenges coming in next 25 years. Chief Minister of Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar already approved several projects. Moreover, he assured that on time large funds would be released for the project development. Moreover, several international companies namely Turkish Cooperation & Coordination Agency (TIKA) & Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) have shown keen interest to collaborate.
